Can the Swedish government be brought to the UN for the destruction of Viking culture or for cultural genocide ?

No. It belongs to their nation. Similar to the statue removals in the US, if the state or local municipality built it, they can do as they please with their property.

Technically it belongs to the various descendants scattered around Europe. The Swedish government did not extend that far back into antiquity.
This is the same type of question on whether Canadian government has the right to destroy the Ericsson settlements prior to the formation of Canada.

The german government does not extend before 1945 but must always pay war reparations. In fact, my bloodline, as result of General Brittius, was said to have six treasures, each worth around six million dollars (USD) around the Roman times, but I have nothing. The Italian government has gotten two or three of those treasures. I cannot claim anything as the nation takes ownership. I would make a good “Count of Montecristo”.

The current Germany government was set up to takeover all the entitlements and responsibilities of its predecessors.

If the Jews can reclaim their treasures confiscated long ago, I can’t see why you are not entitled to the same rights.

Don’t leave it for too long, they may say that you have abandoned your claims!
